🚨 Vehicle Theft Prevention Advice 🚨

We have recently received reports of vehicles being stolen in rural areas across the town.

Thieves often target vehicles left insecure, with keys easily accessible inside properties, or parked in isolated locations. We are asking residents to remain vigilant and take a few simple steps to help protect their vehicles:

✅ Always lock your vehicle, even when parked at home.

 ✅ Remove keys from the vehicle and keep them out of sight and away from doors and windows.

 ✅ Consider using a steering wheel lock or other approved security device.

 ✅ Park in well-lit areas where possible.

 ✅ Do not leave valuables, tools, or equipment on display.

 ✅ If your vehicle has keyless entry, store keys in a signal-blocking pouch when not in use.
